Standard Free Standing bench seating, wall-to-floor bench seating and Island units are manufactured from 38mm square section tubing and welded together to form a strong structural frame. All bench seating slats used are70mm x 25mm in section and have rounded edges for comfort. All woodwork is triple lacquer coated and polished for aesthetically pleasing looks. All metalwork is finished in either a standard nylon coat or an epoxy powder coated finish. A wide range of colours is available.

Cantilever Bench Seating is manufactured from 5mm steel plate which is welded to provide a strong structural frame. As per the above free standing bench seating, all seating slats used are 70mm x 25mm in section and have rounded edges for comfort. All woodwork is triple lacquer coated and polished for its aesthetically pleasing looks. All metalwork is finished in either a standard nylon coat or an epoxy powder coated finish.

For fixing the bench seating to wall structures, we recommend ‘M6 x 40 HEXICON BOLTS’. We do not supply fixings for cantilever bench seating as standard as wall constructions vary considerably.

Peg Rails as quoted are a separate item when used in conjunction with wall fixed bench seating but are fixed to the framework of double and single sided island units. All peg rails are from 150mm x 25mm wooden slat with pencil round to all edges to match the seating slats and has the same triplelacquer coated finish and polish applied. All pegs used are from 3mm thick steel and bent to shape then finished with either a nylon coated finish or and epoxy powder coat.

For outdoor applications, bench seating can be hot-zinc plated or galvanized for a longer lasting finish.

Height – we recommend the following heights based upon the type of changing room the equipment is being fitted to:
Infant - 300mm from FFL
Junior - 380mm from FFL
Senior - 450mm from FFL

Width – maximum length of bench seating slat is 3000mm. Benches with longer overall lengths will be made from multiple lengths.
Peg Height – we recommend the following heights based upon the type of changing room the equipment is being fitted to:
Infant - 1245mm from FFL
Junior - 1495mm from FFL
Senior - 1800mm from FFL

Island Units
Depths – 560/710mm wide
Height – Top of bench will be in accordance with our standard bench seat heights as detailed above for cantilever bench seating.
Width – Maximum length of bench seating is 3000mm.Benches with longer overall dimensions will be made from multiple bench seats.
Peg Height – The height of the peg rails will be in accordance with our standard peg rail heights as detailed above for the cantilever bench seating.
